When someone is suffering with illness it can be a time of great stress, not only to the person suffering the illness but to the people who care about them.  Reiki can help us cope by encouraging relaxation and bringing balance to both mind and emotions.

Reiki encourages and supports positive personal choices such as improving diet, taking more exercise, stopping smoking etc.  Engendering greater inner harmony and balance regular Reiki treatments promote a calmer response to life's challenges.

Reiki's gentle energy is easily adapted to most medical conditions and may be used safely by people of all ages, including the newborn, pregnant mothers, surgical patients, the frail and the elderly in any situation.

Reiki works alongside orthodox healthcare and natural remedies expanding treatment options.

My part as a Reiki Practitioner is to allow this energy to flow through my body

out of my hands and into your body.  Reiki is not just energy.  It possesses Wisdom, Compassion and Love and is a safe non-intrusive hands on healing technique.

Reiki is usually performed with the client lying down on a comfortable therapy table, but can be performed in a chair or hospital bed.

During your session you are fully clothed.  Many people almost instantly experience a feeling of calmness and relaxation and sometimes fall asleep.

Reiki offers comfort, nurture and support for the good health and balance of your mind, body and emotions and therefore helps healing and wellbeing.
